Infinite Ideas

Infinite Ideas

(for Robert Cooley)

No shame in the game
For a man, a son
To hold Infinite Ideas
For the Kingdom of God
Share some, hold others,
Write all down,
The days will hit right
For each idea’s fruition
By you or others called upon~
The rhythm of depths unknown
To tunes never heard
Dances into reality
In Bold, fresh ways
For Infinite Ideas
From Intimacy with YHWH
Gather the flock together
On paths never explored before,
So share some, hold others,
Write all down
And in the appointed hours
All shall stand revealed.

Ribbons of Light

Ribbons of Light

(for Katherine Newcomer)

Ribbons of Light,
Masquerade dances
Through and through
For a daughter to awaken
Into her truest self
And the masks fall off
One-by-One
To reveal Abba’s Princess
Beautiful and Resplendent
In all His Glory~
Newness to old dreams
Wash away the dust
To polish translucent
The ideas given by Truth,
His whispers in the night
To provide possibilities
Never thought about before~
Yes Ribbons of Light
Dance all around her
A party of Grace
For a Daughter of the King.

Shoot, I have No Idea

Shoot, I have No Idea

Shoot, I have No Idea
The words for which to spell,
to spill
Upon the air waves
With the ink of my tongue,
With the quill of my breath
Where sonnets repose themselves
And Haikus wait in hushed-silence~
Trepidation to my informative
Mesmerized fantasy
To commandeer ships or stages
From establishment’s Peppermints.
What a conundrum
Without any sort of beat
~The tales vegetate
And in want my lips strain~
Water, water bores of vodka
On the Rocks of tabletop boards~
Shoot, I have No Idea
The sort of work desired
To straighten roads with syllables
Or calm Seas by a single nod
Along the Hydration of deserts
In planets sought, microcosms
Sit still on the cotton tail.
